The Sun is back – I can’t believe it….
It seem like the rain will never end…
It’s still raining here in Switzerland with no end in sight. This spring (or is it supposed to be Summer) really s…cks big time. I shot this picture in the early morning while it was raining hard.
Due to the heavy rain, there was almost no contrast in the scene so I really had to pull the Lightroom sliders to their limits. See below for the Before (RAW file) and After I shot this picture inside the train-station of my hometown while it was pouring rain outside. Due to the pretty high contrast scenery, I shot 8 bracketed exposures with 1 f-stop apart. What you don’t see here is that it’s a pretty busy train-station and many people were walking through the frame but thanks to the very small aperture of f/18 that caused the long exposures, they simply disappeared
